Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Abdimasya: Journal of Community Service and Community Empowerment must follow the focus, scope, and author guidelines of this journal. The submitted manuscripts must address scientific merit, practical novelty, or impactful community transformation appropriate to the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors are strongly suggested to use plagiarism detection software to perform a similarity check before submission. Editors screen all submitted articles for plagiarism using dedicated Plagiarism Checker software.
Each research article and community empowerment report submitted to this journal will be peer-reviewed by at least 2 (two) or more expert reviewers. The manuscripts will undergo a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review Process to ensure objectivity, and will subsequently be returned to the authors if revisions are required. The reviewers provide scientifically valuable comments and constructive feedback aimed at improving the content, implementation methodology, and clarity of the manuscript.
All manuscripts are subject to peer review, and authors can expect an editorial decision, or an explanation for any institutional delay, within two months of receipt. Upon receiving a revision invitation, the corresponding author should submit the revised manuscript along with the revision notes within two weeks. Principal Editors make the final decision regarding publication based on the evaluation and information gained through the peer-review process.
As outlined in our publication ethics, Abdimasya ensures that all reviewed manuscripts are treated with the strictest confidentiality prior to their official publication.
The final decision of article acceptance is made by the Editors according to the reviewers' comments and recommendations. The publication of accepted articles, including the precise sequence of published papers, will be finalized by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into consideration the chronological sequence of the acceptance date, the thematic focus of the issue, and the geographical distribution of the authors.
